Kitchens
Kitchens are the gathering areas of most families. They should be: clean, organized, and open to the family or living rooms, in clear view of a T.V. and a fireplace. Kitchen Island with a bar to sit at to serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, can double to serve as a sitting area for the Living or Family Rooms. The island is usually the place where families and friends gather and talk about their day and socialize. Some homes are equipped with two islands, for serving guests and as an extra serving bar area as well. We can design and install islands to provide extra space for cabinets too. Either way, kitchens rule and open spaces are in.
Bathrooms
Bathrooms deserve the utmost respect and attention. They are a wet area and one thing is certain, they need to be waterproof, mold proof, and the finishes must last. Otherwise, these areas can become a nightmare, leading to mold, damaged substrates, wrought out cabinetry or wood framing and this "will" eventually cause damage far beyond what may be expected. They need to function properly for those using them. Some never have to give this a lot of attention. However, should we give these areas more thought? Waterproofing these areas can save a lot of headaches and money down the road. Let us show you how to avoid these disasters. A little pre-planning can save thousands in the long run.
Living Rooms
Living Rooms
Living rooms are usually connected and open to the kitchen and used to be separated from the kitchen., they usually always have a fireplace or a wood burning stove flanked with an entertainment center, book shelves, higher ceilings with plenty of light and windows. They are different to Family Rooms which are usually more secluded and are for the family, allowing for a more relaxed atmosphere where kids and family friends can feel a little more ay home out of discriminating eyes. Though more relaxed the Family Rooms usually have larger closet spaces for gamming consoles and other family fun toys for the little ones, but if a house guest or an in-home-business or office can maintain a formal setting and appearance.
